Why do I need a private chef?
Time, money and mental load. Hiring a private chef to curate a specialized menu to your preferences and needs, do the grocery shopping, cooking and cleanup will give you hours back to your week and money back in your pocket. Additionally, you won’t be burdened with the thought of “what’s for dinner?” so you can unwind after a long day.
How much does this cost? What do I get?
You will be invoiced for an hourly rate of $80 and the cost of groceries for the week. You will receive:
Weekly Custom meal planning
All grocery shopping for the week
3 breakfasts options
3 lunch options
3 dinner options
2 snack options
A kitchen cleaner than when you left it
Easy -to-follow heating and serving instructions
Priority scheduling for special events and dinner parties
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! While I am not a licensed nutritionist, I can absolutely work with allergies, preferences and restrictions like gluten free, vegetarian and paleo diets.
How long does it take to cook? Do I need to be present?
Typically, grocery shopping, cooking and cleanup takes an average of 6 hours and you do not need to be present. Simply leave me a key or door code and I can work completely independently. Please do note that any client special requests can add additional time.
If I go on vacation, can I skip a weeks’ services?
Should you need to skip a week or more of my services during our contracted period, a $350 retainer fee will be applied. During this time, you can opt for alternative services such as a kitchen deep clean and refresh, grocery shopping to have your fridge stocked with healthy food when you get back, or, you may gift my services to a friend or family member.
What areas do you service?
Based in West Seattle, I currently service those residing in the greater King County area, including Capital Hill, Ballard, Fremont, University District, Bellevue, Leschi and Redmond.
Do you do private dinner parties?
Yes! these are subject to availability and price dependent on date, number of guests and menu. Clients receive priority scheduling. Please reach out for details.
